Dr. Tamika Haynes

Dissertation Coach

Dr. Tamika Haynes is the CEO & President of Scholars Professional Editing Group LLC. She is a wife and mother of two children while serving as a member of the GLG global consultant network and numerous editorial and small business boards of directors. Dr. Haynes serves as a reviewer of dissertations and published research for the Journal of social, behavioral, & health sciences. She enjoys most being a dissertation coach, scholar-practitioner, and expert in qualitative research methods and case study design.

Elizabeth Cessna, MS, NBCCH

Doctoral Clinical Therapist

Elizabeth Cessna has been a therapist in private practice for over 35 years. She is board certified by the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists and specializes in EMDR, Hypnotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic types of therapy. She also specializes in anxiety, stress, fear, bad habits, and relationship issues. Elizabeth practices Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, a gentle and respectful method of probing her clients' subconscious minds, and completed her graduate work at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and the University of Pittsburgh. Along with Ericksonian hypnotherapy sessions., she offers unique approaches to the discipline, such as using dark chocolate to help her clients with their weight-loss therapy and focusing on sexual and romantic issues for people of every sexual and gender identity. Elizabeth has a number of articles published, is a frequent guest speaker locally and regionally, and has taught psychology at local colleges and universities.

Dr. Elisabeth Vargo

Dr. Julie Vargo is a scholar-practitioner with expertise in mixed-methods research and design. She studied psychology in Rome, Italy, at Sapienza University and obtained a Ph.D. in Public Health from Kingston University, London.

Dr. Mark McCallon

Scholar Librarian

Mark L. McCallon is a professor and the Associate Dean for Library Information Services at ACU. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from LeTourneau University, an M.L.S. from Texas Woman's University, and an Ed.D. from Baylor University. His interests include learning commons installations in academic libraries, electronic resources management, the history and biography of reading and librarianship, and the freedom to read. His conference papers and publications on these topics include an edited issue of Library Trends, “New Perspectives on Intellectual Freedom.”
